Application Process

To submit an application for exempt status, expedited, or full review, simply login.

Any individual (Faculty/Staff/Student) with a valid Geneseo email address can login as a 'Researcher.' For login instructions, follow the 'Researcher Login' link.

If you have questions regarding whether or not your project will qualify for exempt status or an expedited review, see the guidelines.

After you submit your application...

Print and submit the customized IRB Project Signature Page to the IRB Office (Erwin 205). Use this document to certify complaince to the DHHS and College guidelines for the protection of human subjects while conducting research. All projects must complete and remit this form.

In addition, projects that require a full review must submit a certificate of completion (1 for each member of the research team) for the online Protecting Human Research Participants module.
